The Spencer Hart aesthetic was cultivated from Nick Hart’s admiration for the paired down minimalism of Bebop musicians of the late fifties. The photography of August Sander and William Claxton, Savile Row traditions and craftsmanship, mid century Hollywood, Palm Springs and The Rat Pack. This led to Nick being invited to produce a short film with Visit California. The clothes are international, refined and timeless.
